Alternative Digital Print Finishing Solution

Are you considering a digital press and then find the finishing equipment
costs upwards $300,000? The Servo3000 Reregister System is the
affordable alternative.

Combined with a digital press, like HP Indigo, the Servo3000 creates an
ideal label finishing solution at one-tenth the cost. Job set-ups are easy
with low waste; and, since the Servo3000 installs on your existing press,
your operators are already trained on the equipment.

Furthermore, your equipment investment won’t be limited to digital print
finishing. You’ll enjoy every benefit of the Servo3000.

Busting the Digital Print Finishing Myth...

The myth: Finishing a digital printed roll can only be achieved on a dedicated semi-rotary machine. This type of machine uses a large single magnetic cylinder and flexible dies. Different print repeats can be diecut due to the semi-rotary motion of the machine. The web moves at machine speed during the cutting process, then stops and repositions itself for the next cutting cycle.

The fact: Rotary has many Servo3000s installed on conventional label presses, like yours - converting digitally printed rolls faster due to the full rotary motion.

There are a few differences...

The dedicated finishing equipment can convert different print repeats with a new flexible die, but costs upwards $300,000 and takes up additional floor space. The Servo3000 costs one-tenth, runs faster, and takes no additional floor space; however, it needs tooling for different print repeats but flexible dies can be used .A press with 1/8” gearing can run 88 different print repeats from a 1” label to a 12” label. Ten different size magnetic cylinders (at an average cost of $1,000) will cover close to 50% of those repeats.
